History

Owner and President of Sue Densmore Communication Strategies since 1996. Former General Manager of Rogue Waste Systems, Rogue Disposal and Recycling and Dry Creek Landfill and consultant to a wide range of businesses.

Developing core business strategies, business and marketing plans for new companies, re-engineering existing companies and effective implementation of those plans has proven that Sue gets results. Establishing the marketing and community acceptance of the first ambulatory surgery center, Schmiesing Surgery Center; establishing the Board and marketing stock sale for People’s Bank of Commerce, coordinating Public Information on the Umpqua Land Exchange in Douglas County, completing a fire resource study for the five Southwestern Oregon Counties, community development and resource acquisition for the community of Gold Hill, and serving as the Governmental Relations Director for American Medical Response a private ambulance provider in Josephine County and advocacy in the Oregon Legislature and the US Congress are just a few of the projects successfully completed by SDCS.

Sue is a graduate of Oregon State University and currently serves on the OSU President’s Board of Advisors. She is from Lakeview, and spends as much time as possible on her family ranch there. She is the mother of two successful daughters, Brooke who is a District Representative for Congressman David Wu in Portland and Megan who is a Senior at University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
